Online rankings in mobile games: dull and elitist?
Over on All About N-Gage, an editorial ponders whether Nokia's obsession with online rankings is ruining their Arena online gaming service by alienating both hardcore and casual users. Reports of cheating in a recent ONE high score tournament haven't helped matters either.

Comment: I NEVER EVER check the rank from application. Although my NGP is in global top 20. Some of them are even worse than SI you shown. i.e, Brain challenge. They rank the NGP of the game. Goodness! What's the point?!
And games like Dogz and Brain Challenge. They have 200 NGP for upload 50 times. So, the ranking is in respect of NGP in these 2 games. ASSUME THAT EVERYTIME I GOT ANY NGP I UPLOAD MY SCORE, i only need to upload around 20 times, so what's the point for the other 30 times uploading??? It's totally useless and meaningless.
Definitely agree with your opinion!!
