Opera today released a preview of Opera Mini 4.2, the newest version of the world's most popular mobile Web browser that works on almost every mobile phone. With this beta release, Opera celebrates Opera Mini being the browser of choice for more than 20 million unique monthly users worldwide. As part of the celebration, Opera Mini users in the United States and Asia-Pacific region can now experience faster browsing speeds, due to the addition of an Opera Mini server park in the United States.

Comment: Is there an wasy way to copy over your bookmarks for 4.1 to 4.2? I thought that it would have been done automatically.

Thanks,

John

Comment: I'm sure you can sync them with opera servers before and after install, just like with all the other versions.

Comment: Beta versions are not consideret replacement for your older version. When 4.2 goes out of beta and you still have 4.1 installed it will automatically replace it and carry over all your bookmarks. At least that was the case when going from 4.0 to 4.1, so I expect it to be the same going from 4.1 to 4.2.

Comment: Syncin' works well, however the default links get synchronized too :(
They have to bee deleted after the synching process.

Comment: My problem was that I was not using the Opera sync function and expecting the new version just to pick up the same ones that the 4.1 version was using. I've synced now and everythings fine.

Thanks,

John

Comment: I't gonna be great..., changeable skins; better than default "red opera" skin
